Today it retains its unsullied rustic charm, its long walks through pine forests, and a chance to mingle with the village folk; view their celebrations and 'join-in' in their dances and rituals.

ACCOMODATION: A large deluxe suite with a double bed and attached bath. Two double rooms with two beds in each and a common bathroom: Tiled walls; hot and cold water; flush toilets; shower and bucket bath facilities. Towels, bed linen, and coverings provided. Extra cot provided on charge.

FOOD: Indian style vegetarian home cooked meals.
Morning: tea and biscuits.
Breakfast: Indian style.
Fruits , biscuits, cereals, and tea/milk also served.
Lunch and dinner: Vegetarian, cooked Indian style with boiled rice or chapattis. Fruits and sweet dish.

Water: Spring water, but sealed bottled water available as well.
Soft drinks available at cost in the guest house.
Meals served on verandah overlooking valley.

CONNECTIVITY: Bus from Gurgaon leaves 7:10 and 7:20 pm. Arrives Shimla 9:30 am. Shimla/ Nither bus at 10:15 am arriving Nither 3 pm.
Cost of fare: approx Rs 450.00 Gurgaon/Nither.
Busses also depart from ISBT, Delhi, through the day to Shimla.
All guests will be met at the bus station at Nither by one of the staff.
Telephone: There is a telephone booth on the main road (5 minutes walk). International call facilities are available.

MEDICAL FACILITIES: There is a Government hospital 10 minutes away. ALCOHOL: Consumption is not prohibited, but guests are requested to consume in moderation in keeping with local sentiments.
